Without doubt, Running is one of the most accessible and widely used forms of exercise across the globe, from childhood through to adulthood, we are literally purpose built to run. As an activity that thrives on mechanical repeatability and resiliency, even under extreme fatigue, the aim always remains a perfectly executed, complete leg cycle from the first stride to the last. At Elite Fitness we are fortunate enough to work with a variety of individuals, including those who have experienced various levels of success within running both recreationally and competitively. Yet across these individuals in various sports and recreational activities that we work with, no group has such consistent injury occurrence as a result of faulty movement patterns and asymmetries as runners.
