Footwork: Getting you in the right position and stance i.e. keeping the same distance between your feet when moving forwards, backwards and during lateral movement.
Ladder and Cone drills: These are used used to help with coordination, so you get more comfortable and feel more natural with your movement in the ring. Remember, good footwork is the foundation to success as a boxer.
Punching: The jab - transfer of weight onto the front foot generates more power when you snap out the jab. Rotating through the hips when throwing a punch also helps generate more power and speed.
After assessing you in these key areas, we will be able to help you set S.M.A.R.T. goals and create a simple training plan to help you reach your boxing goals with focus, hard work and determination.
